72 Hours in NYC

Wow!  What a great time Danielle and I had in New York this weekend.  We were a little rushed to get in the sights that we wanted to see; but were able to squeeze them in.  Hope you had a great birthday Danielle.  I had a great time celebrating it with you.

Congratulations again are in order for Jessica-Lynn Forbus (my 15 year old daughter) for being tapped for another year of membership in the Senior Beta Club of White Plains High School.

Hello NYC!

This guy was extremely talented.

I decided to roll the dice and film the immigration process checkpoint when entering into China in Guangzhou.  Shot it with a small hidden video camera.  I’m sure that the Chinese authorities would have had many questions as to my motives, had I been discovered.  But I made it through with no detection.  Besides, it’s not as if anyone in China can view it, as YouTube along with many other sites are blocked by the Chinese government.

This monastery is located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong, and is home to the world’s largest sitting bronze Buddha.  Two Hundred and Sixty Nine steps lead up from it’s base and offer great views of the monastery grounds below.

This skyrail is 5.7m in length (3.5 miles), across The South China Sea and Lantau Island.  It ends at the Po Lin Monastery, home of the world’s largest sitting Buddha.  The ride and views are incredible.

This traditional fishing village is located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong.  They make a fish sauce there that is used in traditional Chinese cooking.  Very aromatic, to say the least.

Say “Cheese”…

A short collection of photos/videos that I shot while walking around “The Avenue of Stars” in Hong Kong.  Shot with a little Kodak Zi6, and edited with iMovie ‘09.
